Pamukkale / Hierapolis is considered one of the oldest thermal cities in the world. Pamukkale's thermal water gives people beauty and health since ancient times. However, the main purpose of this trip is Pamukkale, which is called the castle of cotton by the Turks. The reason why Cleopatra, the queen of Egyptians, visited Hierapolis was the limestone terraces, thermal water, beauty and health reasons. We pass the Taurus Mountains through Antalya and head towards Salda lake. Visiting a mosque in one of the many villages on the way, we are knowledgeable about Islam in Turkey. We arrive in Pamukkale in the afternoon and we have enough time to visit the limestone terraces and stay in a hotel with thermal water. The next day, after breakfast at the hotel, we got to know Hierapolis. While wandering, we see the Necropolis with various tombs, the main street of the city covered with columns, the entrance gate and the great theater. On our return trip to Antalya, we have the opportunity to visit a carpet loom. A day trip that combines nature and culture.
